Measured on this block in Jul-Sep 2026 — the ceiling the hotel's WiFi sits under. Shared WiFi, captive portals and per-device caps only make it slower, never faster.

Fixed line vs mobile
| Network | Down | Up | Ping |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fixed broadband — what the WiFi runs on | 329.0 | 58.9 | 11 |
| Mobile — your own SIM | 365.8 | 49.8 | — |
Fixed and mobile are close here, so you have a genuine fallback if the hotel's WiFi disappoints.
